Vivaldi Winter
A Cantate Choral Concert

Cantate Youth Choir will be returning to the glorious setting of All Saints’ Church, Hockerill on Sunday 9 December (5.30pm) for “Vivaldi Winter” for a magical concert with new friends - violinist David Le Page and his ensemble.

Together they will celebrate the darkest season of the year in a concert of seasonal music ranging from Vivaldi’s Winter to Christmas favourites reworked by the violin virtuoso whose 'unique sense of creativity infuses everything he does'.

The concert will be conducted by Cantate Joint Music Director Nicholas Shaw and accompanied by Charlie Penn on Piano/Organ with Cantate Joint Music Director Graham Instrall on Percussion.

Cantate is widely recognised as one of the outstanding open-access choirs in the UK and its members perform a huge range of musical styles to the very highest standards within its three-choir structure.

The All Saints' concert is going to be a particularly special event. For those that have not had the pleasure of hearing the David Le Page Ensemble first hand, this really is an event not to be missed. Not to forget the traditional seasonal refreshments and raffle!

Tickets cost just £15 (adults), £10 (Concessions) and £5 (Under-18s) and are available online at www.cantate.co.uk/events or on the door on the night.
