An Essex-based children's charity which, since 1990, has made 118 humanitarian visits to Eastern Europe & India. We have covered over 400,000 miles & delivered over 813tns of equipment & medical supplies. In 1992, BADC took a record-breaking 105 vehicle, 4.5kms long convoy to Croatia.

Debden Branch Royal British Legion was formed in 1933 and has been operating successfully since then. One of 8 Branches in “C” Group, all located in the Uttlesford District of Essex, Debden is a very well-recruited, proactive and successful Branch that has won many British Legion awards.

Following the tragic death of our 11 year old son Ethan Rees Linwood in a car accident near Thaxted in October 2012, our family struggled to find a way forward in life. We decided to continue Ethan’s ethos in life and raise the aspirations of local young people through a dedicated memorial fund.

The frequent failure of the seasonal rains has resulted in severe famine and food emergencies in the rural community of Kyangala in Kenya. The Kyangala Trust has been formed with the aim of working with partners to help the community overcome some of these challenges.

We care for patients and their families, providing physical, social, psychological and spiritual support and rely solely on fund-raising & donations.
