On Saturday the 14th July we were delighted to welcome The Royal British Legions’ Essex County President Councillor Bob Villa to Debden to present awards to some of members.

A branch Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to the Reverend John Saxon, who has recently joined the branch and has agreed to undertake the duties of Branch Chaplin.

We were delighted to be able to have The County President present the very prestigious County Award to Roger Manser, the branch’s former treasurer.

This award goes to those that are considered by the branch committee and supported by the County Committee to have gone above and beyond the duties expected of a member.
