Livermore Cup Winners (Again!)

It has just been announced that Debden Branch Royal British Legion (RBL) has been awarded with The Livermore Cup, as the most efficient Branch without a Club in Essex. This is the 5th time in the last 8 years that Debden Branch has won this trophy (2012/2014/2015/2016 and now for 2018).

The other 3 years (2011/2013 and 2017) Debden Branch was awarded the Toby Brace Shield as Runner-Up in the annual competition, confirming that they must now be considered the best and most consistently successful RBL Branch in Essex.

In May 2014, Debden Branch went on to win the coveted National RBL Lister Cup for being the most efficient small branch in UK without a Club throughout 2013. The Branch then won this trophy again in 2017.

The 2019 Essex County RBL Livermore Cup will be presented to Mike Clarke, Debden Branch Chairman, at the Annual County Conference, due to be held at Tilbury on Saturday 12th January 2019. This win now qualifies Debden Branch to enter the National RBL Haig Cup Competition later in May 2019.
