Five past and present snooker stars will be visiting Saffron Walden on 29th July to partake in a charity golf day in aid of our affiliated charity, the Ethan Rees Linwood Memorial Fund.

As well as our very own Martin O'Donnell, the players swapping snooker cues for golf clubs for the day include world number two and current World Champion, Stuart Bingham.

They will be joined by former tour professional, Jamie Rous, world number 22 and runner up in the recent Australian Open, Martin Gould, and 1977 United Kingdom Champion and renowned coach, Patsy Fagan.

Hosted by Saffron Walden Golf Club, the day will comprise of a four ball team competition followed by a meal and an auction to raise money for the ERLMF, where one of the items to be won is a snooker cue signed by Stuart Bingham!

Over £500 was raised for the ERLMF at the Snooker Club charity day back in May and we are sure the Golf Day will be a huge success too - a detailed write-up on what promises to be a fantastic day will follow so watch this space!
