Popular local performers The Blues Brothers Rhythm & Blues Revue Band will be making a long-awaited return to the stage at Saffron Walden Cricket Club on Saturday, 6th September - to raise money for the Ethan Rees Linwood Memorial Fund and the Saffron Walden Cricket Club Youth Academy.

Bishop’s Stortford's top-class youth choir, Cantate, returned triumphant from the World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia, winning not one but two gold medals! Entered in two categories in the higher tier “Champions Competition”, the local starlets swept all others aside to take the glory in both.

Thaxted resident & singer-songwriter Lisa Peretti’s latest composition, "My Heart Goes With You", is to receive its world premiere at Saffron Hall on 25th July 2014, at a concert celebrating 75 Years of Bomb Disposal for the 33rd & 101st Royal Engineers, alongside guest celebrity Jools Holland.

Renowned local youth choir, Cantate, are loosening up their vocal cords and tentatively making space in the trophy cabinet as they prepare for the World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia, taking place from the 9th to 13th July. Can they improve on the gold and silver medals they collected in 2008?
