Celebrated youth choir, Cantate, is delighted to be returning to the stunning setting of Bishop’s Stortford College on Sunday 14th July (6pm) for “Songs on the Green”, a special summer event that promises to be a stylish end to another successful concert season!

Cantate’s Training, Junior, Senior and Graduate Choirs will perform their annual picnic concert in the College's beautiful and atmospheric grounds. Pack a hamper with goodies, lay out a blanket and enjoy a feast of culinary and musical delights to celebrate summer!

Cantate is widely recognised as one of the outstanding open-access choirs in the UK and is made up of members whose primary motivation is the thrill of singing - every concert is a joy to experience!

"Songs on the Green" will be conducted by Cantate’s Joint Music Director Nicholas Shaw and accompanied by Charlie Penn on Piano, with Cantate’s Joint Music Director Graham Instrall on Percussion.

Tickets cost just £12 (adults), £10 (concessions) and £5 under 18s, and are available online at cantate.co.uk/events or on the door on the night. The choir will also be organising a raffle for the event with some great prizes on offer.
