Easter Jousting At Hedingham
With The Knights Of Middle England

It’s jousting season once again and the grounds of Hedingham Castle are set to ring to the clash of steel on Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday - a medieval spectacular you won’t want to miss!

The astounding Knights Of Middle England return to the Norman Keep for a weekend of stunts and chivalry as the evil Black Knight and his trusty fool wreak havoc against the Earl of Warwick and his noble entourage.

An awesome display of saddle falls, drags and rearing horses awaits, surrounded by a bustling arena full of craft stalls, a range of food and a host of themed entertainment.

There will be have-a-go archery with the Norfolk Longbowmen, the deathly funny comedy grave diggers, period musicians, Maypole dancing and the ever-popular birds of prey.

With craft stalls, a variety of food vendors, donkey rides, coconut shies and the Castle bar, it’s a full day of excitement, involvement and thrilling spectacle for the whole family!

If you’ve never been to a jousting event at Hedingham before, you must get there over the Easter weekend - be the first to see the knights in action in 2017 and set the tone for a whole season of medieval shenanigans!
