Saffron Walden Air Cadets

Cadets from 1824 (Saffron Walden) Squadron of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets returned home from annual camp at RAF Odiham just in time to receive a new squadron banner following a special service at Debden Parish Church on July 22nd.

Amici Cantate Concert
O Fortuna!

Bishop’s Stortford based choir, Amici Cantate, will be travelling to Chelmsford on Saturday 30 June to perform for the very first time in the beautiful setting of Trinity Methodist Church. The choir will present “O Fortuna!” in aid of local charity, Essex Respite and Care Association.

Walking For Charity

This summer West Essex and East Herts charity, St Clare Hospice, is holding their first-ever family-friendly 5k fundraiser, the Go Bright Walk, and it will be well worth the trip over to Harlow to take part in this colourful event!

Another Fine Fundraiser For St Clare!

A total of 329 athletes laced up their trainers for St Clare Hospice’s 10k race on Sunday (8th April). The annual charity 10k race, which has been taking place for over 20 years, is a permanent fixture in Essex running club calendars and attracts competitors from across the county.
